next mod what to do?

I'm looking the do some more power mods to my truck but can decide what to do. I'm looking at either a new exhaust manifold, helix 2 cam, or intercooler. What would i see the most gain with? I don't want to do a new charger yet so i can still pull in street stock class bacause i don't have the deep pockets to run with the hot street trucks that are bored out 3.0 charger trucks. the mods i already have are in my sig. the truck gets hot real quick already so anything to help bring the egt's down would help.

I'm leaning torward a helix 2 cam but do know what i will gain with it.

Thanks
mike

can you run an external CO2 cooler in front of the intercooler? is that legal? it would be great for the short burst of power in pulling. i know nitrous, water/meth and propane are power adders, but a CO2 spray bar externally cooling the air...

I'd do the cam myself. I wouldn't change the exhaust manifold unless its cracked. Intercooler, they aren't cheap, and I don't think you'd see enough benefit for the price with a stock turbo, unless you're trying to squeeze every last drop out of it. Is a cam legal in the class you're running?

the rules around here for pulling are pretty genric i can run pretty much anything i want as long as i have a stock turbo and no drugs. so i could pull the motor and bore it out and still be legal as long as i keep the stock turbo.

I think they are reccomended for the H2, but not required. The cam doesn't have anymore lift, just more duration.

Thats assuming he has the proper electronics to fuel it past 3200. Springs wouldn't hurt by any means though.

On the stock turbo.. can you upgrade the compressor housing?? upgrade to a hx40 wheel and housing.... and maybe go to a bigger exhaust housing?? I'd at least drill out the exhaust housing to wastegate all the cylinders..

The cam will be a good building block, for future upgrades.. (so will all the others.. but its the most time consuming.. I'd get it done while you can.. )
Good Luck...
Bryan

Edit:.. Springs would be a good upgrade while your there.. they will help controll the boost/drive pressures.. (Keep them closing when they are supposed to..)
