Next mod dilema

I'm looking to go to Mach 3 sticks but was wondering if I'm already pushing the envelope without having studs. My current setup hits 45 psi boost fairly easily, would the Mach 3's up my boost? I'm not so much worried about the egts, just worried about my head gasket, thanks!

may i ask why your not worried about the egt's? i think thats just as important as overboosting your current head bolts

Unless you're holding the EGTs high for a longer period, I wouldn't worry about it either. Short bursts don't seem to hurt much.

I did 520hp and 50 psi on stock gasket and bolts before I put an o-ringed head on. Didn't blow it out, wanted to do preventative maitenance, not break down maitenance.

I meant that my EGTs are fine now and from what I have heard these sticks shouldn't get much hotter than the Edge Jammer III's which are a very hot & dirty set of sticks. Am I wrong to assume this?

No ive heard the same as far as the Mach line being very cool and clean and Jammers being hot and dirty. You might spool a few pounds more cause If Im not mistaken the mach 3's are a little bigger then jammer 3's arent they?

But if your egt's are in check now, Just be careful for high boost, tate might've been lucky at 50 lbs, someone else might not be ya know. HTH
