Hey guys..Trying to decide on an injector for my truck. I am leaning towards the Mach 1.6 or Mach 2.

I have a farm and tow on a regular basis. Would Mach 2's get too hot on a stock turbo or would I be ok? Just trying to get the most bang for my buck...I may do a turbo upgrade in the future but I haven't decided yet. Just looking to make good power on the stock turbo. I would go for Mach 2's as long as I would be ok in terms of EGT...Thanks

 

Since you have a 6-speed you should be O.K. with the egts. If she gets hot just drop a gear and let her rev. If you think a turbo's in your future I would go with the bigger ones now. I tow maybe 6000-7000 pounds with Mach 4's. They get hot but just watch the gauge and don't lug it.

 

Yep, it'll get warm but a bigger turbo will let you get more air in and especially out. A better clutch will soon follow.
