Next 24V upgrade?

Me and my dad are building a pulling truck/rare daily driver....So far we have been getting 3rd-5th place in all pulls we have been to....Here is what we have.... 2002 6speed dual wheel Flatbed Cummins, BD twins, Redline box stacked with an EZ, custom built 230hp injectors, ATS High Arc intake, Water/Meth, Hotrod vp44, and i think that is about it....in your opinion what would be the next upgrade? Thanks....

Bigger twins maybe????? You could always try new boxes. Maybe a TST Powermax 3, I know they stack good with an EZ. Maybe propane or nitro, depending on what class you are pulling in.

What gear do you pull in and what kind of RPM are you turning going downt the track?

If you dont have it already

Heavy DD Clutch ( SouthBend )
Valve Springs so you can really use your Rpms (F-1 Sportsmans springs)

Possible cam if you already have that stuff.

I was saying stack the EZ with the Powermax, my buddy made good power with his 99 with those two stacked. Or you could p-pump it, I would try bigger twins though.

SO VP44 pump?
I've heard the HRVP44's pumps limit you on fuel.

Yea, that is true, I have never heard of a Redline box though. Where do you get that and what kind of specs do you get on it?

Valve springs to get the benefit of the Redline. Other than that, you have alot of good stuff for making the power. I would address the driveline.

What gears? If you are running 3.54 gears, run second hi. If you have 4.1 gears, you might want to jump on up to 5 lo, but definately run 2 hi at least. Do you have the rear locked up? If not spend some money on a locker for the rear. A locker in the front would be a good idea as well.

The redline is the bad boy, can't really upgrade when you own a redline. A Hot Rod VP will fuel fine, no need to get a SO. The Hot Rod is a big step up from the HO that was stock on his truck.

Pretty much the end to all boxes for the 24v, will fuel to 4000rpms, must have upgraded valvesprings to do so, and it completely takes over the fueling from the ECM ***** to the walls. Would be the best box for a 24v sled puller with an EZ

Thanks for the info dzlfarmboy, wonder if it would stack with the bd I have. I printed off the waiver form and I am considering that the hot comp might have to sit for a while if it is that good.
