Turbos don't make power--fuel makes power. Turbos help cool EGT to allow you to add more fuel.

If you haven't done anything to your truck yet, I'd recommend a box first, like the Edge EZ.

X2, if you tuck is stock, start with gauges, intake, exhaust, fuel system.

Then thow in a chip or pogrammer. the gauges will let you keep things safe for the engine, same with fuel pump, and intake and exhaust will help the truck flow better.

Stock turbo can handle quite a bit before being over worked.

Spencer you driving an auto truck or auto? Which injector you thinking about running?

Yes, an aftermarket turbo will make more power on a stock truck. The Holset is wastegated from the factory to run a 24psi. An aftermarket will not have been set so low. Secondly even stock injectors you can get to smoke and make egt's with the right combo. Going from a stock 24v injector to my ddp 110's sticks, my egt's and smoke decreased.

The edge attitude works pretty good and comes with gauges. A set of RV275 injectors would wake up the truck. The only problem is that you'll need to do some fuel system mods and a clutch upgrade

Nope, no good, waste of money.

I would look for an edge comp box or attitude. They are available reconditioned from edge, or buy one used. I put down 315rwhp, just with a stock truck and a edge comp box, 380rwhp on a stock truck using the 90rwhp injectors and edge comp box. 265rwhp with edge ez tow and 300rwhp using ez/90rwhp sticks.

The smarty stacks pretty good with the edge, the truck will respond better all around with the smarty but it doesn't add any power on the dyno. The cruise will act goofy on any of the catcher modes.
