New Truck!!!

Well I finial got my new truck. I am a proud owner of a 2001 Dodge Cummins. I will post pics once we have some nice weather around this place. My question is, I can get an edge comp for about half price, however it is for a 2002, is it possible to make this box work on my truck? Please let me know because he said he would sell it in a day if he didn’t hear back from me. I know you guys on here are very diesel smart, and can lead me in the right direction. Thanks, By the way I think im in love with my truck...

That's a pretty big smile you got on your face there!

Welcome aboard.

Someone out here will answer your question about the Edge. In the meantime you could go to the Edge site and see what there ads say about which boxes fit what.

The 02 box CAN be made to work on your 01-- all it requires is an adapter that Edge offers for like $15.

There is an adaptor available from EGDE... to go either way..02 on a 01 truck...or vice versa. If you don't get one with the box...the cost is up to $38.00.

Thanks for the replies guys; the truck already has a VA box in it. Would it be better to keep that box and get in injectors or spend the money on edge comp. I don’t want to add much more than 50 to 70 more HP. I don’t have the money for a new clutch right now and I want to add the Max amount of power that my stock clutch will handle. I’m also looking to run this truck for at least 200K so I don’t want to shorten its life span. Thanks for the help guys
