HX40W housing swap onto HX35

OK, so I can get a wastegated HX40 housing for ~$220 versus the $360 anyone wants for a 14cm WG for a HX35.

First Question: Will it fit? I know I will have to change the downpipe to mate to the '40, but will the housing bolt to the charger?

Second Question: What housing's were available in the WG version? I'm guessing that 14,16 and possibly 18's were available. If I can rule out that it's NOT an 18, I would probably do it.

Third Question: Would a 16 WG even be worth it? I know a 14 WG would (to me, at least).

Thanks All, sorry for all the questions,
Chris

First question is no. The exhaust wheel in a 40 is bigger so the 35 wheel would just swim around in there.

Second question is 16cm2 and 18cm2. I know they make a 14cm2 for the 40 I just cant remember if it is wastegated or not. The 14 is pretty rare as well so the price might be as high or higher than the 35 housings if you can find one.

Third questions is no because it wont work. You can run a 16cm2 non wastegated housing on the 35 and it will spool similar to the 40 but wont cool quite as well.

The HX40 housings will not work on an HX35.

Did you find/price a WG 14cm HX40 housing or a 16cm. The 14's are pretty rare and nearly impossible to find.
