Just wanted to say hello, just got my 97 4x4 ext cab dually about a month ago mainly for work/dd.....already had 275hp injectors, 4" exhaust, bd perf. trans, 4.10 gears, egt/boost/trans temp, airraid intake.....i'm fairly new to diesel performance and had a question about a switch for the convertor the previous owner put in, just curious as to when to use it if ever?

i dont have an automatic, but im sure what you are talking about is a torque converter lock up switch, People like Cumminsdriver635 and others with automatics will chip in shortly, I know it locks up the converter, but im not certain if its in a certain gear, or locks out overdrive, or anything....
