Spring Spacers

I know this has been tossed around a lot but wanted you all to check this out before I sell my truck and get a 4wd!! I don't need the 4wd just like the way they look (height).

http://www.suspension-components.com/Dodge.htm

I am looking at the 2.5" spacers of course and wanted to know what you think. Most people say I will need new control arms but I can not find any for the 3500 2wd.

Sorry I just noticed the 2.5 is for 02-03 obvisouly there is a diff.

IIRC, the coils are the same through 2003. You might just call them and ask.

You should be fine without the control arms, 2.5" isn't much. Do you have the solid front axle or A-arms?

I added new front springs to mine, which are 2" over stock. My alignment is fine. Caster was the only thing the shop had a problem with, but they assured me it wasn't critical having it out a little. I've got about 5,000 miles on the truck, since the modification, and the tires look fine.

Didn't you get yours from CSS? I talked to them and he told me to get numbers off factory springs and he could make whatever I wanted. He said the numbers were different from driver and passenger sides but mine are the same. Do you have any pics?

Just give them the numbers you have....

Caster doesn't seem to be as critical on the 2WD.

The best place I found was online: www.kybshocks.com

They are a local company here in Orange County, California, so I just drove over and picked them up. They were around $50 a shock.
