New to the site...new member (?)

Gents (and maybe a lady or two),

I'd like to introduce myself. My name is Jason L. of Cary, NC, and as of Monday, January 7th I am the proud owner of a 2001 2500 QCSB with 185,000mi.

If anyone's interested in further info, I'd be happy to provide it. Like most trucks, it's got a couple of "love marks" and some other imperfections...but mechnically sound and a ton of fun to drive.

When's the next meeting? To become a "chapter member", do I need to do anything specific? I'd like to meet some of you guys...I need some advice and guidance as a first-time owner of an oil-burner!

Hey Jason! Glad to have you around and congrats on the truck. I'm not sure when the next GTG will be, but most likely it will be the Creswell, NC drag event in April. I hope we can get a dyno event going as well before it gets too hot.

As far as being a member of the NC Chapter 18 don't worry about it for now. You're on equal ground with everyone else. Keep an eye on this section for future event updates.

Good luck with the truck, send me a pm if you have any questions you want answered and I'll try to help.

Mike

My wife and I have a wedding to go to on the 5th, but my brother (who will join the CTD ranks soon I'm sure...) and I might be able to make it to MATR.

Thanks for all the comments, guys. Looking forward to contributing and learning a lot!
