new injection pump and FASS fuel system and now crappy fuel milage!

so i installed a stock rebuilt bosch vp44 HO pump and a FASS fuel system, and my fuel milage just **** the bed. anyone got any ideas what might of happened??

The installer could have installed the VP44 with the timing retarded relative to the proper location. There are offset keys used to dial in the static timing of the pump (which determines the effective maximum limit of what the electronics can do).

Bottom line, your timing is probably retarded.

i am just going off of the electric display but it is definitely using more fuel. and is there anyway i can check the timing or does a shop have to?

it runs good and has good power. it has a bully dog 3 stage chip, would that of effected the timing if the chip was on?
