New Gauges
I just found this Forum and think it's great. I have had a 95 Dodge Diesel since it was new and loved it. Decided to get a new one a few weeks ago and found a 2001 4X4 for a good price. Really love the six speed manual tranny. The first thing I bought were gauges from Geno's. Boost/EGT, dual temp, and fuel pressure. They will go in a pod on the A pillar. They arrived today so Guess I'll spend the weekend trying to figure out how to hook them up. Any tips will be appreciated.

Thanks, Barry

Re:New Gauges
Got all the interior goodies hooked up. Have the boost and egt hooked up as well. The fuel pressure is the problem. Where does the sender go? The instructions with the gaugewere not very specific on its placement. There is a line from the lift pump to the fuel control with a banjo fitting. right next to that is a fitting with a schrader valve on it. Does the sender hook up to either one of these?

Thanks,
Barry ???

Re:New Gauges
Pop99, the way I did mine is considered pre filter pressure. Look under your fuel filter canister, locate the line coming from the tank(closest to rear of vehicle) you will need to put a banjo bolt there. From the opening on the banjo you will take a 18 inch grease gun hose(buy at Wal-Mart) and screw it into banjo, the sender will then screw to the other end of the hose. Make sure and replace the little washers for the banjo or you will have a leak. I think that about covers it for installation, if you have any problems Private Message me and I can walk you thru it.
