where are how is the best way to install the egt? where should i put the sensor? how should i drill and tap it? what do you do to make sure no metal shavings get into the turbo?

 

Apply it pre turbo, I think there is a article on dodgeram for the specific location it is easier to look at a picture than explain it, as far as tapping the mainfold you can use grease and clean off the tap alot then once the hole is fully cut get a magnet rod and stick it in there and move it around several times, be very carefull as metal and turbo fins are friends.

Or mount it post turbo but be warned the readings are very inaccurate and it is usually not recommneded, some guys have posted 500 degree differnce when running two probes pre and post to compare.
