Nerf Bar ?

I am thinking about removing my running boards and replacing them with nerf bars for a few reasons, 1. I want aftermarket rims and with 305s my tires hit the running boards, The boards are 4 years old and don't look the best anymore, and the boards don't want to stay tight(they move everytime you step on them) to the body. If I go with nerf bars I want some that go from wheel to wheel and don't cost twice as much as a new set of running boards and are black. Does anybody know of any that meet my picky requirements or would I be better off building my own?

Westin makes just about anything you need or want. They have black and chrome. Great service and warranty also.

I have Westin's on mine.
I believe they are the Platinum Black ones (painted stainless)

They've been great of over a year now.

Passenger side is a bit looser than driver side, but that is my fault, I stripped the support bracket screw on one end of it, and the passengers tend to put their whole weight on it when getting in.

phox

My Go-Rhino's work real well, and they don't budge.

I'm running Westin's wheel to wheel black ones on my truck now. They ran about $350 with tax. Took some getting used to, I like them but wish they were a little lower. Install was easy.
