Mods below. I was thinking that I am not getting the performance that I thought I should have at this point. So I removed the AFC and the fuel plate and made a test cover so I could run it plateless. still not doing any better. It has enough fuel , alot of smoke then down to a nice trail down track and it is boosting 45 psi at wot. It will not holeshot or even build boost when standing on the brakes. I am thinking that my converter is to stiff. and maybe some timing might help. What do you think?? Thanks!!

You should be able to build some boost. How long are you trying to spool it up? Mine is fairly laggy even with the stock turbo, but I can easily build boost. Just roll into the throttle. Mine takes longer to spool if I just hammer it.

Pretty sure more timing wont help( depending where your at)
I think your on the money with your converter, if they are to low stall (tight) its tough to get on top of them once you modify your truck to fuel harder in the top end. I have had 4 after market converters now and believe me there are huge differences. I am pretty happy with the one I have now ( TCS 89H multi disc) it seems to stall around 16-1700rpm but if I ever do another one I will get it a little sloppier yet. The low stall is great on a stock (or close to it truck) but once you start to fuel and air them up it takes more effort to spool-up.

Thanks

Thanks for your opinion. Thats why I pulled the fuel stops just so I would know that it was not a fuel problem. Converter is real tight.
