What are you wanting to do with your truck?
Whats your end goal power wise?
Work truck, daily driver, both?

Auto or stick?
Start with a Smarty. You can set it for mileage or change it when you want to play.

I played around with a friends Smarty for a few days ( with my Juice off) and liked it alot.

However, I perfer the on the fly adjustabilty my Juice/Attitude gives me.

On the other hand, Juice is up to 120 hp and Smarty is 65 hp? I believe. So it IS possible to run into the potential problem of hurting your trans quicker with the Juice/Attitude.

On yet another hand, Juice comes with all the gauges you'd need to keep an eye on things. Smarty you'd have to get gauges still.

6 of one, half a dozen of the other.

You can get them cheaper for a lot less.
Look in the classified's.

IMO the smarty is great if your looking for a great addition to other upgrades. in your case I would say stick with a edge EZ look at there products. alittle extra timing for better mpg and alittle kick in pants for power without hurting your trans. get a different Air filter IMO. and with other money I would think it would be good upgrade if your doing alot of freeway to change your diff fluid to a good synthetic if you havent yet. redline or royal purple. clean your Air intake sensor, check your map sensor. hows your batteries. hows your belt. pulley's etc. you said gauges but are you putting in a fuel pressure gauge. really important. if your looking for 350 at rear wheels I think your stock tranny at this many miles is going to be hurting if not now or soon. with a stock truck and auto you around 190 at the rear wheels. your exhaust and intake hasnt done to much more to those numbers. IMO going to 350ish would be a big jump in tranny and your going to need some fuel mods (sticks box,) and if you have those you need better air. upgraded turbo. just what ever you do do it right the first time. and not have to spend for it the second time and be honest with what your trying to get out of it.

If you can find one for cheaper its worth IMO.

However like dieselwrks pointed out, Its a never ending cycle. Adding Smarty might very well be the thing that will MAKE you need a new trans. And more air wouldnt hurt with that fuel either.
