All right right now I'm looking for a set of gauges for my truck. Which gauges do y'all suggest? I want the boost, tranny temp, and pyro. I would really prefer not to spend a gazillion dollars on gauges either , because I am on a budget. So if y'all have some good links for me I would really appreciate it.

There seems to be a consensus among 98.5 to 02 CTD owners that the first guage to buy and install is a fuel pressure gauge. Electric or mechanical, that will spark a debate. I've towed heavy since i bought the truck used. With the 5speed, tranny temp wasn't critical, so I installed a boost and pyro. All three are on an A Pillar mount. Maybe some of the guys with AT's will chime in.

i have the bd x-monitor and like it very much since you can recall your highest records. however i do not think it looks as good as mechanical gauges. look at Haisleymachine.com

 

I really like the looks of mechanical gauges better too. The A-Pillar mount was what I want to do, because having gauges scattered all across your dash looks crappy. I'll check out haisley. Thanks guys.

This is the best price I have found on them. They will let you get the pryo, fuel pressure and trans temp together. I will be trying to order from them in a few days if I can get the $'s together.
