My New Scotty Air II is here!

Have you ever bought something and the moment you see it in person you know this thing is fast?

I think the box it came packed in probably gave me 8 to 12 more ponies! Gee this is a really nice product. No way can the dirt get by the filter because the box doesn't seal tight like a stock unit.

Thank you Rod at wildcat diesel for sending me such a great product. You guys are sure on the ball there and I can't wait to cut the hole

Is there a hole saw floating around, or are you guys buying one. A saw that big is pretty spendy to use once :

I just lost the name of the person who has it right now :'(

I will track it down, but in the meantime, Home Depot has 4.5" holesaws for $11 US, plus the cost of the arbor which can be used for other hole saws.

Rod

Top, you gonna do step by step photos? This whole bombing thing is starting to get stressful. Piercing wires, cutting holes in the cowling.
~Dave

I'm going to have to check Home Depot. I went to a performance tool shop and they wanted $37 for one... that's alot for a one time use item... [undecided]

It is ahead of the filter so no dirt problems getting by the filter. This design is really nice because it has a positive seal between the filter and the turbo intake. Only way to the turbo is through the filter!.

I can see how getting air from the two different places will help lower EGT's for anybody adding more fuel to their rigs. I am not sure what the little baggie full of Penguin droppings is for yet though that came with it. I can tell you not to eat them as they are not chocolate covered raisins as they appear

I got the white one, my truck is white with a teal stripe down the middle, now I have to clean everything up under the hood.

I don't want to get crazy in my fueling mods though as I have nothing but mountains here to tow over and really don't need the higher EGT's that come with that.

so maybe I will have to limit myself to only two turbos instead of 3 ;D
