My New CAI

Here are some pics of my new "CAI" i just installed over this last weekend. It's from Airforce One Performance. I love it !!!! Sounds awesome, and defiantly a noticeable difference in power. Once I get enough highway time ill see what kind of Mpg's I'm getting.

Where can you buy one of these and for how much? Seems like every site that AF1 has listed doesn't have one for our trucks or the site doesn't work. I found that Sport Truck Direct has one style, but they don't say if it comes with the lid or not, and the PN doesn't match up with AF1's PNs...

Yes I work close to AF1 & they used my truck for the R&D on the CAI & Intake horn.

It is almost the same exept the back of the air box is open also instead of just the side.

Its a new part from AF1 so some of there dealers may not have listed it yet. I think BTG Motoring has it up on there site. Look at btgmotoring.com

No. the only way anything bad could happen is if whatever intake you go with uses a crapy filter that does not filter good. This intake uses a 8 layer filter so it filters very well.

The truck I bought had the AFE Magna Force Intake on it! Do they use good filters or should I put the stock unit back on it?

all I know is if you stick your hand back there you can feel it sucking air past your hand. Im not saying that it gets a lot of air from there. All I know is it works, sounds, & looks great (IMO) & is really well built. I mean powdercoated steel air box with or with out a lid polished T304 SS intake tube stainless clamps ect... IMO that is good quality nomatter how you look at it.
