moving the fuel tank for 4 link
I need to remove my stock tank and get 2 smaller tanks, one in front and one behind the rear axle. can I just get any old tank and use it? or are diesel tanks made from something different?
what about a fuel pump, is the stock pump in the tank or is it on the frame somewhere? what do you guys suggest?
I saw on another site someone used a tank out of a 93 s-10 blazer and another one from a 95 suburban, ending up with 72 gallon capacity, but those were also installed in a chevy gasser.

Check into the race car fuel cells. They come in a variety of sizes and shapes.
You can get aluminum tanks built to whatever specs you desire. I would also avoid steel tanks. Most diesel tanks are aluminum or plastic for a reason, rust is VERY bad in the fuel system.
