mosquito club
After the install of my twins and mach 6's, i became a member of the mosquito repellent club. I can't believe how much smoke i leave behind me. Is there anything I can do to reduce this. Edge is turned to 1 and low smoke and still don't help. Are the injectors just too much for my bd's.
thanks

The Diesel Perfomance World Is A Little New To Me With Rapid Changes From The Old Mechanical Pumps To The Computer Controled Engines Being Produced Today. With The Problem You Are Describing It Sounds Like The Fuel System Is Putting To Much Fuel In The Chamber. Smoke As I Was Tought Is Unburned Fuel And Horsepower Going Out Your Tailpipe. On The Older Engines In Years Past When You Increased The Fuel To Get More Horsepower You Had To Go To A Larger Turbo. With The Electronics Though In Alot Of Cases Is Not So. The Detroits , Cummins And Cats All Have Programible Horsepower Rateings Already In The Ecm. But It Almost Sounds Like The Mods Are Conflicting With The Original Settings. I Could Be Wrong Like I Stated Earlyer The New Performance Parts Sold Are New To Me And I Have Not Worked On Any As Of Yet. Have You Tried Calling Or E-mailing The Manufacture Of The Parts You Installed?
I have a small split in one of my boots. I have a new one on the way. I didn't even think of that being it. The turbos build boost quick and can easily get to 40 psi before i let off.
