You need to do ALOT of reading on here to make a decision on a tranny upgrade.

While your tranny is stock you can do a 3 gsk and a #10 torque plate with those gages.

The scotty 2 is a VERY good choice in air intakes!

welcome aboard

U want even more?

Time the pump to 16-17 degrees, a 100 plate, PM northslope... WICKED WORK.. A zero plate, loosen the AFC housing, change out the air intake on it to a BHAF or a Scotty II, Delivery Valves, and injectors, and ur gonna have wicked wicked ride!

Always ask when you are about to do something. Some one will usually walk you through it step by step or tell you where to look. Dodgeram.org is a good start.. Just copy what I did mine runs well.

Just to start things out.

Do you know how a diesel motor operates?

If you can understand that, then it will really really help you out to get more power from your truck.

Once you understand that, there are alot of good sources on how to turn your truck up. A 12v requires ALOT of hands on mechanical tuning.

Setting the timing is not as easy as a distibutor on a SBC...

Search this board ALOT. There is alot of information here...

If you need some help, or you can't find some information that you need, ask away, or maybe private message somebody here on the board.

Above all else, have fun, and goodluck. The Diesel's can't get expensive really quick (up to $9k for a tranny!!)
