No doubt, this box throws down some serious power however I am still having some issues with it. My truck is throwing code 1689 which means the ecm is not communicating with the pump. I thought I tapped the pump incorrectly so I did it again, no dice. I also checked the main power running to the pump, everything checks out. Also, on any power level higher than 1, it flashes, don't really know what this means. The power is still there except there is a delay from when I stomp the go pedal to when the pump hard fuels, but when it does, WOW!!! I know this chip is still in beta stage right now so there are bound to be some flaws, but is anyone else having these issues? I would like to get this resolved(hopefully I didn't just kill my second VP since I bought the truck,lol)

I would start by downloading one of the newer files off the website. The issues you are having are solved with the newest updates such as the flashing and stuff. They are also smoother.

So start there.

Look at the software version. Open an update and hit "get module info".

When you do this you will get a software version. If it does not match what is on the web now, then download the current 2018 update.

All the 2018 designates is what features are enabled and that it is an aggressive tune and not a standard tune.

 

Not to highjack but I got mine and downloaded I think 2019 and anyhow boost at my gauge is say 10lbs to the recons 5lbs. Does this mean my MAP is bad?

 

It's still ok to bounce stuff around about the Adrenaline and discuss certain aspects...Quad just doesn't want us attempting to diagnose stuff for others and airing our issues here on the board.

 

I'll just play it safe. I like beta testing for quad & still have a 04 & 04.5 trucks waiting to get a Adrenaline. Sure don't want to bite the hand that feeds me POWER!!
