mods done, now to toast the engine!!

i just did my first mods, ground the fuel plate to 100, plugged the wastegate, and adjusted the startwheel. only problem is i wont have any guages for 2-3 weeks and im running stock exhaust . i couldnt resist to put horse power into it lol. if thats not bad enough im going to put a gsk on tomorrow, i just might have to go to the bank and see how much money i have for a new exhaust

how much power do you guys think im putting out, i have a 96 5 speed.

Your a bad boy! .Just kidding. I was gonna do the same thing today but got tied up with other stuff. About how long did it take you to do all that stuff? Would you consider it pretty simple? My gauges are on the way so I guess i'll wait to do all that just to make sure I don't mess anything up.

The first thing you will do is blow the 35 into orbit. Had a guy call the other day that did the same thing and it only made it a week. A 96 with a 35 with the w/g plugged will hit almost 50psi ( WILL NOT LIVE LONG LIKE THAT ) you need an adjustable w/g elbow and regulate it down to 36psi MAX.

oh dam thanks ill go buy the boost elbow asap, last thing i want to do is destroy my motor.

i decided to go out and buy a pyro today, turns out that my egts werent as high as expected. at wot i could only get to 1320, that is with a stock exhaust and intake

i dont think im going to do a gsk mod to it, im selling the truck and just wanted to turn it up a little bit to help it sell better.

Why did you even consider Mods without gauges then...

I see you did get a pyro today , but you still need a boost gauge , or you could hear a loud pop and have some turbo parts make a new skylight in your hood...

you up the power to help sell it? to me thats like wipeing first, it just doesnt make sense.....When I go to buy a truck I look to see what kind of shape its in and how the previous owner treated it and driving around with extensive power mods and no gauges i would have my doubts and probably go and look at something else...well to each there own I guess, best of luck in the sale.
