Mileage module results?

Quadzilla MAX Mileage Module
Edge Mileage Max

For those of you that are running these modules, what are the results you have actually seen? Or should I look into a selectable non-wire tap programmer? Truck in question is hopefully an 01.5 HO 4x4. Thanks.

I just put a Quad MMM in. The engine is quieter (wife confirmed), the go-pedal is more responsive (don't need to get into it or back off as much, responds to much smaller inputs), and the overhead computer is much happier (mpg's). I haven't run enough miles to hand calculate, but when I do I'll report back. I'll also be doing some 10k towing this suumer and repost back on that too Very happy so far.

I put a mileage max on mine and immediately, the engine sounded "nicer". Little more power and about 2 mpg on the highway gain.

I have the XZT+ which is a Max mileage with the additional feature of fuel/timing. Honestly, I haven't seen any change in my mileage, but then again, I haven't seen any decrease either so I guess it's a wash. Plus you can't go by what the overhead says anyway so until you get a hand calculated figure, you just don't know for sure.

In ideal conditions - 70mph with cruise on I get anywhere from 20-22. Normally I get anywhere from 17-19 per tank and that's with 80% highway and 20% in town.

Quadzilla max mileage module results

I have some real world hand calc'ed mileage results for the quadzilla max mileage module
this morning i drove from denver to fort collins for a trip of 69.5 miles about 9 of that would be "city driving" in foco i put 3.26 gallons in for a mpg of 21.319 i have only gotten over 20 one other time with a lot of down hill mountain driving, before the chip, i usually average 18 ish to 19 ish
thia was driving 65 mph with Lucas fuel addative i would say these are great results at least a 2 mpg gain
thanks quad for a great product at a good price
the motor is quieter too
i will repost at the end of this week with some city mileage results

I have more mileage to report this weekend i went from Fort Collins to denver to canyion city and back over three days, i traveled 398.98 miles inculding about 25 miles hauling a trailer with two quads going about 20 miles an hour. aveage speed would be between 65 and 75. i used 19.65 gallons, for a final MPG of 20.3 this may be a more accurate mpg gain

i forgot to mention that i had Lucas fuel addative and the XPD opti-lube both in the fuel for the trip. the engine is super quiet and runs very well i think the opti lube is better i am just using the lucas till it is gone now

Good results, Joe189. That's really good mileage by any truck owner's standards, I'd think.

Did you ever get your install questions answered on the lift pump and routing through the firewall and such?

No i just looked at the directions and looked at the engine for over an hour and finally found the map sensor and data link, then found the opening in the firewall. so it wasnt difficult, it just took some time for a diesel novice to locate what i needed to find.

on a different note has anyone else with the max mileage chip noticed any surging right after start up for and continuing for about 5 minutes???? nothing major it just makes me wonder
