mech fuel pressure guage

I need to install a fuel pressure guage this week!! I leave on monday to go deploy to the desert and right now my edge guage sending unit is screw'd. So right now I am driving not knowing what my pressure is and its very nerve racking for me. I am going to definetly go with a mechanical. I just wanted some ideas. No time to order anything so I will have to source everything in town so hopefully the speed shop has everything!!!!! Pry wont go with a perminent set in stone set up as I will go with a triple piller when I get back late summer. It will just be a cheap way to let my wife know when fuel filters have to be changed or if something has gone wrong. thanks!!!

Is there anything special that needs to be done to run a mechanical guage, if any?? I thought I read you need to run antifreeze or something or is that differnt than what Im thinking of??

that might be if you use a snubber. I used needle valves for mine, and the fuel runs right to the gauge. I also used stainless tubing from filter housing to the gauges.
