Does anybody have this chip? and what do you guys think about it? Is it worth it? My dodge is about to get driven a lot more then usual and with prices of Diesel right now I need something that will help. So will this help?

I've got the XZT+ which is basically a max mileage on one setting and timing/fuel on another. I run it in the mileage mode and really haven't noticed any improvement in mileage but I also haven't noticed any decrease either. I'm sure I could try real hard and baby it for a tank but thats almost impossible with my driving. I like to get up to speed a little more quickly than most....

I have the xzt+ too. I didn't notice much in mileage gains either in the mileage setting.

I used to run a XZT+ on my 99 Cab and Chassis. After installing it, and running only on timing setting (so the same as the mileage max), I gained fuel mileage both in city and highway. Granted I daily drove the truck to work (and really I just putt around during the week). During highway was where it really shinned, I could net 24MPG Highway with winter blend fuel.

As long as you accelerate normally/slowly, keep your speeds down and just basically drive to get mileage, you should notice an improvement.

Cool thanks. I went ahead and purchased it only because later I can upgrade it but right now I only need the mileage part of it and if I get the XZT+ I would be to tempted to run it on the other mode. lol Again thank you guys

Now that you have had it for a while, what is your opinion?

I have been considering one myself.

I've had the superchip, xzt+ and now the adrenaline. I did notice a slight mpg gain w/the timing. I like the adrenaline the best and the functions. When run on pl2 which is basically equaly to the xzt+ on timing+fuel plus the mach 1.6 injectors I get 20+ mpg. IMO, you'll notice more mpg by installing better injectors. YMMV.
