I read in one of the posts that the MMM had to be mounted inside the cab. Is that correct or can it be mounted under the hood? If it is not weather resistant could it be mounted inside a box under the hood? I have a bad back and can't get up under the dash to work like I could in my younger days.

 

You use to be able to send your Quad in to Quadzilla and they would water/weather proof it so it could be used underhood for a fee. I believe some sent them in to prevent cb problems. I think it is the underhood heat that can kill the electroncis in the box.

The easiest way to go inside is the the clutch block plate.
