All FASS lines and fittings are 3/8". Know of no truck that has been able to pull FP down below 14 psi with these lines, including some pushing 600 hp. Can see no reason for going to 1/2" lines with either FASS unit.
My Wildcat Max Flow System worked extremely well up to a little over 425 hp. Above that I started pulling FP down to 5 psi at WOT. Scottys system sounds like it will work with even higher hp.

When I installed the FASS system on my wifes 2k, I ran the connection to the filter inlet. I had already done Scotty's fittings and lines so I decided that I didnt want to throw the money away. Also by running the FASS system to the stock filter first I still had the water/fuel and fuel heater. Here in California I really dont think I need the fuel heater. .

The Scotty Smart Fuel System si much easier to work with than the steel braided lines. You dont need bandages to stop the bleeding from the holes you get in your fingers from the steel. If it hadnt been for the pictures that we were taking for Scotty, the install would have taken a about 1.5 hours.
The kit comes complete and easy to install!

So you ran 2" lines to & from the FASS pump? Any plumbing problems?

I just pulled my entire Max Flow system out..intacted...from vp to tank line (incl. Filter housing & LP). Sold it, to someone that did not want to mess with braided lines & fittings, for about the price of the Max Flow Kit.

Anyone know micron filtration for stock system for water. Never did quit understand how that worked. FASS is only 144 microns on its Water separator...according to literature that comes with the unit.

What I did was pumb the FASS system into the input side of the stock filter. I unhooked the line that comes from the stock lp. The line from the tank was disconnected and the FASS line connected. All the stock parts are still in place for now.

I bought and installed Scotty's kit. It is a good kit, and easy to install. I'd recommend it to anyone.

Scotty the way this thread reads is that the original wildcat Maxflow (that I run) has been changed after wildcat folded, what changed and why as far as the fittings etc?

I wanted to do this fuel kit this way all along. I like the socketless hose and no braided line to puncture the skin. I designed the first kit for wildcat, it made no sense to release another kit to compete against what I just designed. On the 2nd gens its 3/8" to the factory lift pump, 1/2" for increased volume to the filter housing and then to the VP-44. I still use JIC fittings with my custom Metric to JIC parts on the 2nd gens. Highest quality aeroquip socketless hose.
Look at a weber carb fitting compared to my fittings...no comparison for inner diameter.

On the 3rd gens, 3/8" inner diameter works the best. Its a little bit different then the 2nd gen requirements.
