I'd say the Commander. But then what do I know? I've never messed with one before.

More than likely it is just getting a little high resistance at the connection. Do you have the wire tap or the plug and play? I have to wiggle mine every now and again to get the boost to read right.

My boost (at idle) ALWAYS reads 8psi...dunno why, but it's done it since day one. I emailed quadzilla and they said to make sure I had the wire tapped correctly (done) and to make sure I had selected the correct vehicle (done). No change. I trust the other readings so I just ignore it...would like it to read correctly, but not sure its worth repeatedly messin' with it... -2cents

By the way, anybody know where (just in case) I can pick up a new MAP sensor? I've checked most Autozones/Oreily's and they don't seem to carry them. Tks. -d

Cummins, and I was actually going to say odds are good the sensor is bad.

i was thinking maybe the sensor too, because it also jumps around while driving, ie: i can be running 8psi and it will jump to 10psi and then back to 8psi. i talked to quad and they said it was probably getting a little bit more voltage and that it was more than likely the sensor

well i ordered my new map sensor from www.hoeslidiesel.com, and it is a little bit smaller in size than the factory one. it also takes a 1 1/16" socket instead of an 1 1/4" socket. is this the right part and will it work ok on my truck?

Their website says that part # covers 98.5-00, so you should be good.
I had to go buy a deep well 1 1/16 socket to change my MAP sensor, $26 for a socket from NAPA .
