Manual Boost Controller (acquired one)
Manual Boost Controller (acquired one)
Well, this weekend I got to try a manual boost controller. I still have the stock turbo and run my Smarty on #7. The HX-35 would get to about 20 psi max in stock form or with the Smarty on #7. Put the boost controller (thanks RJohnson
) on Saturday and now max boost (again on s/w #7) is about 31 psi
Smoke clears a little faster now
and truck seems to be a little quicker going by my (non-calibrated) seat o' the pants meter.
Very happy with it.

EDIT: just saw this on one of the pages in the tech article above and thought it was pretty appropriate to this site in general

Glad the MBC is working good for ya. I put my boost elbow in when I did everything else, so I have no with/without comparisions, but I do know the that it's

with it.
And that disclamer should be read by everybody. You gotta pay to play.
