Mahle headgasket for performance application

Anyone had any experience with Mahle head gaskets in a performance application? I just popped an OEM head gasket while running 42 psi and thought I'd replace the head gasket with a Mahle.

Thoughts?

I don't plan on cranking up the boost any higher....I'll be sticking here I'm at.

Cummins sells three different grades of 12v/24v head gaskets, each has a different thickness. If you running a stock piston, stock piston protrusion, stock deck height, stock head thickness, use the stock cummins head gasket that was designed for your engine.

You running head studs? I use a thick coating of locite copper head gasket spray. I would get the head decked and do a good cleaning of the block deck. I've run orings in the head over the years. The have held in up to 80psi.

Could also look into a custom MLS head gasket.

I'm running stock pistons, stock piston protrusion, stock deck height, stock head thickness.....so I've been planning on going with the stock cummins head gasket.

I do plan on having the head decked. I have ARP head studs to install. I only plan on running 45-50 psi after the rebuild. Think I'd need to have the head O-ringed?

Thanks for the suggestion on the Loc-Tite copper head gasket spray....I hadn't thought of that.

The custom MLS head gaskets for 12V/24V engine, phone cosmetic gaskets
they have a MLS 0.062 thou for 24V. I've never run one before, but have friend that have, they seem to work well.
