Mag-Hytec Trans Pan

Who has the best prices for a Mag-Hytec trans pan? I'm ready to do another fluid and filter change, this would be the best to time to upgrade the pan.

Don't know about prices but just wanted to point out that your pan on the 2001 47RE already has the extra capacity that the standard mag pan has. IF your getting a new pan for more capacity you will need the double deep pan.

i put one on my 02 when i did the ats stuff to it and the mag hytec pan was bigger than the stock one by quite a bit. not sure if 01 and 02 were the same pan, but i dont know that it was 2qt's bigger like they claimed. it was more than 1 qt difference though without a doubt.

bluebull's note got me wondering what's the real deal so I wrote Mag Hytec. Their reply was that the pan was designed in 1996 and increased the capacity by 1 1/2 quarts at that time. In 1998
Dodge increased the stock pan by one quart. So the replacement pan only increases the fluid amount by 1/2 quart, the double deep by 4 quarts. A half quart won't make that much difference but the cooling fins should. Not only that but it does look pretty cool. The best price I've found so far is from Desert Diesel Parts in Arizona, $220.00 plus shipping.

Arrow Try looking here.....

Here's the difference between the two. If I ever go to one, I'll go to the Double-deep. CLICK HERE The smaller one is the same price that you found.
