While researching front diff covers I've read that there are/were clearance issues with the Mag Hytec for the Dana 60. Those of you who have made the change -- any problems? Do you have to drop the tie rod to install the cover? If so, is that difficult?

 

No problems here. Yes I had to drop the tie rod. Not difficult at all. Remove nut and hit the tie rod end with a hammer (don't hit the threads). It will pop loose.
