Only thing I can tell you is to apply more force. They might have lock tighted the bolts in place.

Blue your scientific approach worked I went back outside and treated it not like the lil imports I used to work on but the big brute it is, I put all my mite behind a good pull on the ratchet this time not worrying about my knuckles and trying a different angle, one by one they came off, took a total of 22 minutes to do the whole job, Thanks again.

Now all I can say is WOW, this thing feels awesome, the power is ready as soon as the throttle is pressed, even on the hi-way it just feels great, I didnt have a smoke issue like a few people said, I now feel the truck pulling higher in the rpms than previous, and off the line it just really moves right out, I have had the pleasure of driving a few 24 valves in various stages and gotta say I might not have the most hp or tq as the others but mine sure does feel better,

Hey. What are you doing posting? Get out there and go for a drive and let us know how it does. Glad to hear you got it working. Just remember, these are trucks and they can handle some abuse.

Trust me. They can handle it just as well as they can dish it out. Mine's handled far beyond what it was designed to do and is still running strong at 91,000 miles.

you need to remove the 2 bots holding the fuel filter. The bolts that you are turning are 10mm

becareful removing the wiring harness DO NOT OVER TIGHTEN

Ooooooo, sometime around september or october. I'm loving them. They are a lot quieter than I expected them to be. Don't get me wrong, they are loud, but they aren't as loud as I thought. If you though being straight piped out the back was to loud then definately don't do the stacks straight piped.

I'm glad You like the Mad that well, but it is going to be A pain now for the next couple of weeks waiting on the smarty. I let A boy I work with test drive My truck before I took Your ecm off and then again after puting the stock one back on now He can't wait for Marco to release the common rail version of the smarty. Hell as many people as I work with and know in this area with these trucks I need to call Marco and see if I can be A distributer, once they have been in A truck with it and without it they wonder why They didn't allready have one.

My bolts on ecm were excessively tight also, but got them out. Di-electric grease should be used on the ecm connections also. Add some Mach 1.6's(or bigger injectors), and you'll never get rid of that .
