Go with 6's... Like it was said above, if you find out its too much fuel for your liking upgrade your turbo.

I personally like to run larger injectors and turn the box down if heat is an issue. IMO a 62/14 is good to about 450hp, a 64/14 to about 500hp. After that stick an S400 under your 62/14. With Mach 6's and the comp on 1x5 you should be at about 490hp. Mach 6's and Comp on 5x5 (with enough air), and you would be about 600hp. Subtract about 70hp from those values for the Mach 4's, though I did make 565hp with Mach 4's and twins. I made 510hp with the Mach 4's and a single about the same size as the one you are using.

The Mach 4's will make all the hp your current turbo is capable of handling with the comp on 5x5. The Mach 6's will make all the hp your current turbo is capable of handling with the comp on 1x5.

That's a good explanation, Paul.

I have a chance to get some Mach 6's at a real good deal. How do think they would work with my 64/12?

I suspect my towing capability would suffer and wouldn't gain much HP wise.

I never could get into the 12.s on fuel, best was a 13.0 in cool clean air.

Mike, I think you are right. The 6's might give you enough additional pull on top to make it into the 12's, but it would be toasty. The best I did with Mach 4's and a single turbo was a 12.96. That was using a single that is a little larger then what you have. My advise would be to add more air (of course you are doing that with the spray). An S480 would fit nicely under that 64/12...

Thanks Paul! Toasty you say.. Shoot, I already see 1650 through the traps..

It's like what Jim Fulmer said, "I look at trucks that won't reach 1600 degree as needing more fuel".

Go with the M4's...... Jumping to the 6's with your turbo setup will pretty much only gain heat, you might see an extra 10-15 HP but you don't have the air needed for 6's. The 6's are best suited for twins or a 66mm+ size turbo.

If you tow and don't like high egt's run the mach 4's. You'll just smoke and smoke with mach 6'ers. They are too big for a single, unless you go big. I really wonder why you're only pulling 38 psi with DD stage 4 jammers. I've ran those with my twins and I can pull into the 50psi. You might have a boost leak. It might fix your egt's and make more hp numbers. Maybe Don is making different sized mach 6er's but mine I can't tow using my twins. Yes I can tow on flat ground, with my edge unpulled. Hills, forget it. They are smoker than the jammer 4. Your going from a 130 sized injector to a 220 sized injector. Running the jammers I'm guessing that I'm in the high 475+ HP range. A single will make less but should be close. With the right set-up, mach 4's should get almost to 600rwhp, with no smoke, no egt's, and can tow.
