mach 4's or 5's

well i sold my jammer nozzels, and am wanting to get some machs. i was thinking about 5's but i dont want to drive by my pyro with my comp on kill. so do you think the 4's are a better choice? i dont pull anything but the boat and my blazer on the trailer. i know at the end of the quarter with the jammer stage 4's my egts were at 1450 to 1500 making 38psi of boost.

I would go 4s or 6s. The 6s aren't really any smokier than the 5s, so they say.

With your 62/14, the M4s would be a good match, imo.

Injector sizing isn't absolute, because it depends on how you use your truck.

The way I use MY truck, I could use M6s with your turbo.

But if you want more margin of safety, 4s are better.

Very few people are running the 5s. Most choose 4s or 6s.

I would think the 4's would be a better choice for a daily driving not looking for max power.

i dont want to get the 4s and wish i would have went bigger. but then on the other hand i dont want to be driving by my pyro. i dont see myself going with twins or anything down the road just my current setup. but you all know how that goes once you get the bug you dont stop.

Go BIG or go HOME!!
6s all the way.
If they are to hot send the turbo back for a 64 rebuild or better yet a 66!!

Because the guys with the air for 5's can usually run 6s as well... I have heard that they have about the same manners/smokeiness...

That depends on how you drive, and if you tow. And the altitide.

IIRC it is not much $ to have your turbo converted to a 64 if it is a little hot.

What setting do you normally run on the Comp? You could set to 1x5 for the timing, and turn it up to play with the big sticks as well.
