Lucas Fuel Additive

I tried the Lucas fuel additive in my last fillup. It seems to run smoother/quieter with a little more power. Could be my imagination. I washed and waxed the truck at the same time. We all know that after you do that, they run better.

Re:Lucas Fuel Additive

I also have had good results with the Lucas Fuel Add. Just wished it would come in larger bottles then the small 1 bottle tank type around here.

Re:Lucas Fuel Additive

I bought two of the little 2.5 oz bottles at $2.25ea.
Then a large bottle at $20.00.
I figure refilling the smaller bottles (Perfect dosage, easy storage) cost me $.83 per tank.

Re:Lucas Fuel Additive

Unfortunately, no truck stops close by. Closest one is over 100 miles away. Use the fuel additive I put in just getting home. LOL

When I was down in GA. I noticed the 1 gallon size and bought that. At least the small ones are at the local Parts store. I haven't even checked online yet to see if I can buy directly or not. Some day, will do a search to see where they may have larger bottles close by in VT.

I've seen the bigger botles at NAPA. If you're parts store where you get the little bottles isn't one of the big chains...they should be ale to order you a bottle.

Re:Lucas Fuel Additive

I use it also and have had good luck with it.

I think Diesel Injection Service did a test article on it and gave it a thumbs up, found it on the internet some time back.

Re:Lucas Fuel Additive

There is usually a bottle of Lucas Fuel additive or Howes diesel treat behind the seat. Both are good stuff. I use it every fill up. I use a ratio right cup to measure. -Anthony

Ditto! these are the only 2 additives I found to work, Howes & Lucas.
