My buddy has an 01.5 HO with mach 1.5's, drag comp, super b, scotty 2, and 4" straight pipe. His egt's at idle are normally about 300* but lately they've been sitting at 200*. We've also noticed that his max boost is down a couple of pounds also. Could a boost leak cause the low EGT's at idle? I personally think he's just being paranoid but oh well. Thanks for the help yall.

 

He shouldn't have boost at idle anyway, don't see how it would effect egts.
I would blame it on the gauge or it's connections.

 

when do you really look at the gauge anyways. mine idles at 250 it will be fine
