Slide the stock plate forward and adjust the star wheel. Plug the wastegate on the turbo. But first, you need to get an EGT, Boost, and Transmission temp gauge.

You get more useable power with an aftermarket plate. In other words your egts are lower with an aftermarket plate.

Check with some tranny rebuilders in your area. It's a pretty common upgrade when doing a rebuild. I paid $85.34CAN for mine from the shop that did my trans in June.

So how hard is it to do them three mods Bigblue is talking about? Is there a simple set of instructions? Any info would be great.

Grind your own plate like the #100 that there are pics of aroudn the board. Do a search for #100 plate and you'll probably find at least one thread with pics and instructions. I just did mine last week and I love it. It hit much sooner than the #11 that I took out.

Is the #100 Plate better than the #10 plate?

Depends on what you mean by better. A 100 plate only controls fueling at lower rpms, after that it's your foot. I would personally rather watch where I'm going than look at a pyro all the time.

Yeah if a #10 plae you can probably get away with the stock turbo housin and everything with the plate in the stock postion.

I'd say with the #100 plate you would need aleast a 16cm housin.
