I can't get over 40 psi with my truck and obvouisly the egts are wild without the use of my head . Even when the wastegate is disabled 38 psi max, no boost leaks at at, I pressure tested up to 32 psi, took over two minutes to leak down to 0 psi, and no major bubbles when sprayed with soap. Turbo syas it should spin to near 50 psi, and I know I have enough fuel to push it. Fuel pressures are good. I am at wits end here trying to figure this out, turbo had good endplay and bearings are good, even tried another turbo last spring with the same results. Got ANY ideas?? Seems like either somthing is defueling but how with a MAd ecm or the truck has demons Runs like a champ other than a little hot in the top end due to lack of boost.Oh the pressure gauge check out to be the right pressure reading.

Did you test for boost leaks with the intercooler piping still hooked to the intake or did you plug the intercooler piping, the gasket on the intake plenum plate on the head could be leaking

 

I installed the pressure cap I built on the turbo checking from turbo to valves with no leaks.
