looking at Airdog

Well, I've finally decided that I need to get an aftermarket fuel pump. I helped a friend install the Airdog, like the rig. Better price than FASS. So is everyone happy with what they got? Who has the best deal on a 150gpm set up? I'm thrifty.....some say cheap but you would not imagine what I have to go through to free up $500 to flush. I've searched the web and seems to be around 5 bills, but I just don't know. I look at my gauge when I'm loaded or raring down the the skinny pedal and cringe at the site, the power puck really kills it So that's when I think, oohh, I need more fuel pressure the intank thing Dodge put in is a joke. Dodge, don't blame it on my high hp power puck, only add on I have.

Anyhow, just hard to part with the coins

Well Dodgeguy71, I don't know about your friend, but I love mine, just finished the install on the new Fuel Pressure gauge and I've got a solid 17# PSI. That's up from 4# PSI with the stock pump.... (I'm the friend he helped install my AirDog150)

The vendors have a set price to sell at. So that affects the individual prices.

Remember the 150GPH AirDog comes with the draw tube and it's recommended that it be installed.

IMO its about the same pump as FASS so why not! If it saves you money I would be game. I wish it was out before I got my FASS

I've had mine for over 100,000 miles and can't say enough about it.

Thanks for all the input...unfortunately or fortunately for me, I found a Lincoln gas powered welder for $900 with 800 hours on it. Business before pleasure and the truck ain't broke so $500 for the Airdog not top priority...perhaps one day. Thanks again, good to hear good stuff about it and someday maybe it'll find it's way onto the truck.
