Anyone have data on how long they have gone after putting the lockup switch in?

In a perfect world, id grab a bushel off my money tree and just get a new trans. But in this world its not going to happen any time soon.

Mine runs and operates fine. felt better about a year ago when i put the new torque plate in, now it doesnt seem as potent when it grabs though.

If i put the lockup switch in, and use it, am I headed to the trans shop in no time?

A lock up device CAN be your worst enemy depending on how you use it. If you can't afford to fix it then don't install the switch

 

I use my brain when I use mine, 40-50K with no problems.
