ok os i got my valet switch in and after some small mishaps i think i got it figured out. no after i realized i pinched my boost line in my e brake for whatever reason when the switch is in the on or off position, i have no smoke anymore. before at WOT i had a bit of smoke, now in either mode i have a small haze at best. does that sound right?

 

I am gonna guess that for some reason your not getting as much boost into the pump top now, and that your fuel cone is not traveling down as far as it should. If you pull your fuel cone you should be able to mark it some way to check and see how much travel you are getting.

less smoke would mean less fuel which is what the valet switch is suppose to do. You should notice less boost and lower egt's as well.

 

i did notice less boost but im noticing less smoke in both modes on and off is that right?

 

No. You have a leak or a restriction somewhere.

 

should just be in the one mode (less power).
