A little more power

Looking for input / thoughts on two products. I have an 02 3500, auto, 410 gears. Want a little more power and fuel mileage. Interested in either using a Banks "Big Hoss" or Edge "EZ" programmers. Don't want or need big power. Would like input from anyone that has used either of these products.

Thanks for your time and assistance.

dont get any banks crap for your truck. Their stuff is ok, but for what you pay for it you can get something twice as good that has twice the power.

you might look into the smarty programmer. Very very good upgrade.

Or if you want something cheaper, you could go with the edge ez. a decent box with decent power

Then stack either one with some small mach injectors or rv275's. you'd be lookin at around 300-325 hp and that would be a nice increase and get you better economy

Runnin the edge Comp. with the injection pump wire un-tapped. So it addes the same power as the edge EZ. Nice power especially on the high RPM band. You'll like it

you can find an EZ in the classifieds for around 300.00.
If I were to do it again from scratch, I would now get the Smarty. Its about 600.00, but well worth the adjustability.

I've never used the smarty, but I have an Edge EZ that I really like. I bought it for the mild power increase and still able to tow. I lug aroun my 33' RV (9000# - 10,000#) with my stock auto trans, and have no issues with EGT or tranny. I plan on adding the RV275 injectors soon. They may also be of intrest to you, but they're a bit more of an install than an EZ or smarty.

i have edge juice with attitude, which i love, you get gauges and you get more power. You also have the option of tapping the pump or not, all depends on how much power you want.

I have a Big Hoss level 4(100hp) and do alot of heavy towing and don't have any EGT issues. They are a bit pricier but it is a solid product, 6 years and counting for the box and no isues.
