How can i get a little more power when im pulling i have a 97 3500 4x4.when im in 4th gear and down shift to 3rd going up a slight incline i lose power even when i stand on it the rpms go down and i end up going to 2nd until it flattens out and then it picks right back up..thanks

 

Hello,<br> Sounds like you have a problem, the same problem I had, maybe worse!!! I don't know how much you are pulling when this happens but from what I am gathering from this site a stock cummins should pull strong through most gears especially in second or third.
