Re:lifted

Skyjacker 4.5".
Actually gained 5" with it.

BFG 315/75R16 AT's, 34.75 inches tall, 11 inches wide, on 16x10 inch rims.

Speedometer corrected with Superlift Truespeed and verified with GPS.

Only lost 1-2 MPG, but as I did this right around break-in point (16,000 miles) and at the tail end of winter blend fuel it could have been less.

No engine or fueling mods yet, except for mufflerectomy done soon after installed lift,
and BHAF done about a month ago.

There are those with bigger lifts and bigger tires, hopefully they'll chime in soon.

Planning on 37 inch tires when these wear out, they look kinda small now.

Phox,
That sure sounds like a pretty truck. You got pics in the albums here? If not, where can I see pics of it?

Re:lifted

Dang, leave the room for 10 minutes.

I need to get a nice clean side shot.

The fronts look horribly small with the bumper up higher and pushed out more.

Re:lifted

I did the SkyJacker 4.5 and as Phox stated I also gained the 5 inches. Those coils are STOUT!!! I ended up having to lift my rear an additional 1" later as it sagged.

On my truck I went with my Front bumper/Winch the same time as my lift and I put Centerline HT's 16.5X10's with 36x14.5x16.5 tires. They did rub at full turn on driveway approach so the rear of the underside of my fenders had to be ground back. (no one notices that tab rounded back).

I think you can go 37" tires as most of those are only 12.5 width but I don't know first hand on that!

My milage dropped a solid 2 mpg with these mods and I ran these mods long before any motor mods with one exception and that was a K&N drop in filter.

2 MPG drop is nothing to lose with tires this size and lift. I had to raise my daughters Tahoe 6" suspension and 3" body to get it this height (close) and it now gets 6-8 mpg or about half of what it used to!!!!

Hope this info helps

James

I've got an 02 2500 Cummins with a custom 11 inch lift and 38" Swampers. I get around 16 mpg in town. You can see it here:

Re:lifted

Very Nice Truck!!! I am thinking about doing the kelderman kit on mine so I can go up but still go back down to get in my garage at night. Rt Now My truck is 6'11" and has 1" of clearance on my garage. That was after I opened it up and changed the garage door!!!

My compliments DieselHead Beautiful Truck...
I haven't ran the mpg since I bombed it (all done recently) but I didn't get 16 before.

Thanks guys. It's pretty fun to tower over things on the road and I get a lot of at stop lights.
