I am looking at a 01 with a 5.5" and 3" body lifts with 37's. Only has 98xxx on her but it has steering problems. How much damage would the big tires have caused on everything else like the u joints and driveshafts/ axles???
If I was to buy it I would take the body lift off and get smaller tires.

Depends how it was treated. You will just have to drive it good and get under it and shake and twist anything you can. Steering stuff can get expensive, tie rod ends arent cheap, ball joints, steering box, and shaft,track bar and the front hubs all should be looked at. Biggest thing i would be worried about is if its an auto and what gearing it has. The big tires and a lead foot will be tuff on an auto.

 

Its got the 6spd! I am going to test drive it tommorrow. will let you know.
