lift/leveling kit 2002

I am considering a 3" lift or 2"leveling kit to put 315's on my 2002 2500 ctd, but the more I read up on this the more confused I get. Is my 2002 front driveline different than 2001 and older, if so does any one make a lift that addresses this because I am deathly afraid of creating any driveline vibes as I drive this baby every day on the freeway. Does lifting the front pull the front drive line back , can this be corrected??? There is alot of talk on here about sky jacker, is this the best kit to go with ie the 2.5 or 3"??? thanks for any input

Get the Skyjacker D25 coils from www.summitracing.com they are only $150, and they lift the front 2.5 inches ride very nicely. Also while you at it spend the extra $50 and get some Skyjacker shocks that are 2" long. For $25 each the price can't be beat! ;D

Be forewarned that if you have a good amount of miles on your truck be prepared to put a new track bar on. I started experienceing "Death Wobble" after my D25's were installed. Put a new track bar on and did an alignment and all was well again.

I am gonna do the same mod to mine this weekend... 4 wheeler parts supply has the spring spacer kit that will give you 2" cleanly. Price is $146.99. Add $70.00 for 2 new longer front shocks and "walla"....the bubble on the level should be plumb and level... Good luck... BTW, a local shop down here wanted $305.00 for new springs and still another $35 per shock. As far as I can tell my front springs ain't sprung yet so I am opting for the spacer....

Oh yeah...one more note. I run 305's on mine right now on stock rims and the rubber, in a hard turn while parked has a clearance of .5" from the axle support arm. 315's may require you to adjust your turn stop a bit to avoid contact with rubber to same... Good luck

Off road warehouse has the D25 coils for $129.99 a pair. Best price I could find.

They changed designs sometime in the 02 models. The earlier kind has a disconnect in the axle, and then newer design keeps the front axle turning all the time. I've got the later type and I put 2 inch spacers on mine and it has no vibration. I've had the spacers on for about a year.

Thanks for all the info, I think I will look into the skyjacker coils. With these would you not need new control arms??? Maybe the Tuff country spacers are the way to go??? thanks again , any more thoughts just keep em coming
