Re:leveling kit

I put the kit on the front and it was still about an inch lower. The kit was very easy to install. The 315's also fill up the gaps very nicely. I do rub with stock wheels at full lock. Besides that, it runs great.

Re:leveling kit

You might not need a leveling kit. DodgeMan01 says he is running 315/75R16's and has NO rubbing at all, with stock rims. I couldn't believe it but he swears it's true. There's a thread a while back when we were discussing tire sizes and what would fit.

I KNOW that 305/70R16's will only rubb a little on the bottom axle tracking arm at full lock, with stock 16x7.5" aluminum wheels, but the same size tire rubs the fender well with 16x10" Mickey Thompson Classic II's (4 3/8 backspacing), and requires the leveling kit.

My truck sits different and it took a little getting used to at first, but I like it/don't notice it now. My truck did site a little lower in the front. 1700 lbs. of cement in the back almost brought the back down to level with the front before the leveling kit.

Chris

Re:leveling kit

After seeing Stameys truck at the last meet, I went out and ordered a leveling kit for mine. I got it from Jackit.com and installed Bilstein shocks that are 2" taller. It was pretty easy to install but I needed to compress my springs a couple of inches to reinstall them, the axle just wouldnt drop away far enough even w/ the sway bar disconnected. Mine is still slightly taller in the back but looks good. The new Bilstiens really ride good compared to the stock shocks. Tim
